Help us fight invasive species at Piney Branch Stream Valley Park in Fairfax! Our group of 12 volunteers will be led by a Fairfax County Park Authority lead volunteer to identify and remove invasive plants from the park area.  All fully vaccinated family members are welcome to join, and we will verify community service hours for students and scouts! We have a capacity of 12 people for this event, so please register ASAP to secure your spot. 

A few additional notes: 

• Specific directions for where to meet will be provided to registrants.
• Please email your vaccination cards to Yvette Rivers after successfully registering or plan to show your vaccination cards on the day of the event.  We also ask that all participants wear masks when not distancing and when indoors and not eating/drinking.  This park has plenty of space for distancing.
• For anyone interested, afterwards we’ll meet up at Chateau de Chantilly Café for coffee and pastries.
