6:30-7:30pm

This meeting will be conducted on Zoom.  Instructions will be provided upon registration

Please join us to celebrate Jewish American Heritage Month with an event about the joys of Yiddish! We're excited to welcome Yale Professor Joshua Price on May 12 at 6:30 pm, when he'll talk to us about the renaissance of this vunderlekh language at Yale and around the world (where "renaissance" is only half the story!). Current Yale students, some of them now taking Yiddish to fulfill their language requirement, will also present their workThis fun event will rekindle your love of Yiddish or kindle a new flame if this language is new to you. From humor to literature, from history to culture, once you discover Yiddish there's no going back. But don't worry: the event is in English, with some tasty Yiddish morsels for flavor.
