Social media is powerful, and you should use it to your advantage. A resume is fixed (still invaluable), and your social media is fluid. There are several ways to make your LinkedIn page attract attention, including the content and your interactions with others online. In this interactive workshop you will:

      • Identify the best way to present your LinkedIn presence
      ● Maximizing AI in the process

In a job search or career transition, with so much outside your control, maximizing the power of how you think about yourself and the situation can make or break your success. In this interactive session, Decision Coach Kirsten Parker will guide you through practical strategies to stop wasting energy on unhelpful thinking and start using your mindset to your advantage. You’ll save time and stress by getting ahead of these pitfalls — and leverage your mindset to navigate this process with clarity.

    • Week 4: How FABulous You Are! An Interactive Interview Prep Workshop with Melissa Reitkopp Cornell '85-
Wednesday, October 22 at 12:30pm - Register here!
Think of an interview as a chance to market yourself-it's all about being prepared with the right info and knowing how to close. Anticipating questions and sharing clear, impactful responses will make you more effective.  We will work in an interactive workshop to learn the FAB (Features, Accomplishments, Benefits) method that incorporates a behavioral interview technique called STAR (Situation, Task, Action Results), a game-changer for interview prep. The FAB with STAR stories is a powerful way to help you "show, not tell." Solid prep means you'll feel more confident, provide stronger answers, and have better conversations. Don't forget to identify and overcome any objections with key closing questions.
